During Halloween week, the students in 5th and 6th level learned
about how
Halloween is celebrated in Las Vegas. Tifani is this year's English
language and culture assistant and she shared with the students
what this American holiday means to her hometown.
She showed
the presentation below so that the students could get an idea of the
festivities of Halloween night in this very famous city. As a tourist
destination, the focus is always on BIG light shows and BIG attractions.
Halloween is no exception. People travel to Las Vegas from all over the
world to have a spooky night on the 31st of October.
Included in the presentation are three videos: the city tourists on Halloween, a Halloween parade in the center of town,
and a Haunted House inside the 13th floor of a hotel.
